FIFTH Graders! Reading Olympic competition TWO weeks away!

Fifth Graders -- READ READ READ!
Our in school competition will be held during lunch on November 19th -- There are a lot of FANTASTIC titles to get through. My favorite? Hmmm... I think a three way tie between Dovey Coe, The Thing About Georgie and The Naked Mole Rat Letters...but I did love Winn Dixie too. This is hard because there are SO MANY awesome books out there!
Good luck and get reading!

Book Fair is this week

Please check out the book fair! The proceeds from this book fair help us keep our library collection current and STUPENDOUS! Usually the proceeds go to helping us buy great new science and non-fiction books. Here are some of my favorites that we got from the proceeds of last year's book fair.

Pseudonymous Bosch was a hit with 4th and 5th grade!

Psuedonymous Bosch entertained fourth and fifth graders as he read from his new book, This Book is Not Good for You.  Check out pictures from our great day--note that Pseudonymous does NOT like to have his picture taken without glasses or some sort of disguise as he worries that villians are hot on his trail!
